Project Fellows / Associates
POST OF PROJECT ASSOCIATE:
- No. of Vacancy : 01
- Minimum Qualification : M. Tech in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
- Experience Requirement : Minimum 2 years’ Industrial or R&D experience in chemical process simulation/ process design & development/ catalysis engineering/ plant erection, commissioning & automation. Candidate with Ph.D in Chemical Engineering and R&D experience in hydrogen generation technologies and/or high temperature catalyst development/processes will be preferred.
a) Place of Posting: The selected candidate will initially be posted at Mumbai (Panvel) for association with OEC’s ongoing project on Hydrogen generation through thermochemical processes. However, the place of posting may change, if OEC decides to set up the facilities at any other location.
b) Terms of Appointment: The appointment may be for a period of 2 years, including initial probationary period of 3 months. The tenure of appointment may be extended beyond 2 years, based on project requirement and individual performance.
c) Emoluments: Rs. 9,00,000/- per annum (consolidated). No separate allowances will be paid.
POST OF PROJECT FELLOWS :
Biotechnology (PF-BT1)
- No. of Vacancy : 01
- Minimum Qualification : B.E./B. Tech in Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
- Experience Requirement : Candidate with experience in handling of microbes, implementation of microbial/ biotechnological processes on large scale will be preferred
Microbiology (PF-BT2)
- No. of Vacancy : 01
- Minimum Qualification : M. Sc in Microbiology with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
- Experience Requirement : Candidate with experience in handling of microbes, implementation of microbial/ biotechnological processes on large scale will be preferred
Physics (PF-MS)
- No. of Vacancy : 01
- Minimum Qualification : M. Sc in Physics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
- Experience Requirement : Candidate with specialization in Solid State Physics/ Electronics will be preferred.
Chemical Engineering (PF-HP)
- No. of Vacancy : 02
- Minimum Qualification : B.E./B. Tech in Chemical Engineering,with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
- Experience Requirement : Chemical Engineers with knowledge/experience in Process simulation/modeling and/or hydrogen related processes will be preferred.
EngineeringMechanical/ Electrical
- No. of Vacancy : 02
- Minimum Qualification : B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, with minimum 60% marks or quivalent grade
- Experience Requirement : Mechanical/Electrical Engineers with expertise/ experience in thermal/ hydro power generation/ turbine technologies will be preferred.
Geology/ Geophysics (PF-U)
- No. of Vacancy : 05
- Minimum Qualification : Post-graduate in Geology/ Geophysics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
- Experience Requirement : Experience of working as Wellsite Geologist in Mineral/ Oil Exploration activity will be preferred.
a) Terms of Appointment: The Project Fellows may initially be appointed for a period of 6 months. The tenure of appointment may be extended on need basis for further periods, subject to satisfactory individual performance.
b) Career Advancement: Best performing Project Fellows have the opportunity of being engaged as ‘Project Associates’ in OEC after completion of two years as Project Fellows. On successful project completion in R&D stage, they also have the opportunity to be a part of the next stage for implementation of the developed process/technology.
c) Consolidated Stipend: Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 30,000/- per month (with 30% to 40% increase in Stipend after completing initial 6 months). Project Fellows posted on Field duty will be eligible for additional field allowance @50% of monthly stipend, as well as travel facility for performing On-Off duty.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Selection Process: Applicants will be considered through a two-tier selection procedure i.e. screening of CVs followed by interview of short-listed candidates.
- Reimbursement of Travel fare: The outstation candidates called for interview shall be paid 2nd Class 3-Tier A/C to & fro Railway fare.
- Timeline for Joining: Successful Candidates will have to join duty within 30 days from issue of Engagement Letter, failing which the offer may be withdrawn.
- Important Note: The ONGC Energy Centre Trust is separate and distinct from the company, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) and persons appointed by ONGC Energy Centre on behalf of the Trust do not automatically qualify for appointment/absorption in ONGC nor can lay any claim for appointment/absorption in ONGC.
