IBPS Bank Clerk Eligibility


To apply for IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) Bank Clerk recruitment examination it's important to know about your eligibility. Although final selection is decided by a personal interview (after clearing the exam), meeting a few eligibility criteria is necessary to qualify for the written exam.

Eligibility to apply for a Bank Clerk role:

Age: Minimum age 20 and Maximum age 28  
Education: Graduation in any stream
Computer literacy is necessary, either having studied as school level or having completed any type of Certificate/Diploma/Degree
Proficiency (read, write and speak) in the official language of the State/Union territory where you are interested in working

Relaxation in age eligibility is available for SC, ST, OBC, Persons with Disability and Ex-Servicemen.

Scoring minimum required marks is the eligibility to appear for the interview.
